£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

We're currently recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader to join a growing and reputable organisation based in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic payroll team while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Payroll Team Leader will include:

Providing efficient support to internal and external stakeholders

Resolve payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation

Oversee Payroll operations and related tasks

Produce scheduled payroll and service delivery reports

Maintain accurate documentation of processes and changes

Allocate team workloads and manage performance

Conduct 1:1s, reviews, and support team development

Monitor SLA adherence and ensure service quality

Collaborate across departments and support onboarding

Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes

Identify and implement process improvementsProfile

A successful Payroll Team Leader will have:

Experience running large payroll processes.

Extensive payroll operations experience, ideally using Oracle Payroll.

Proven leadership in managing and developing teams.

Strong communicator, adaptable to various audiences.

Well-organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.

Proactive with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

A salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.

Hybrid working - 3 days remote and 2 days office based per week reducing to 4 days remote and 1 day per week office based after probation.
