Are you an experienced events / conference manager looking for your next role?
Supporting a large-scale public-sector organisation, you will manage the design, planning and delivery of the annual internal conference in Manchester city centre.
Experienced in events / conference management, you will be leading an internal project team and working with external suppliers to design and deliver the event on time and on budget.
Working collaboratively with internal colleagues and stakeholders, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and management, from conceptualisation through to overseeing the event's delivery on the day.
With excellent communication skills, you will be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders and also be responsible for internal communication.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced event / conference Manager who is able to hit the ground running. This is a very varied role. Therefore, you will be required to be both flexible and adaptable. The working hours are 36 per week, Monday to Friday. Excellent communication skills and a polite and friendly approach are also essential.
