This car has been sat for a while not being used due to health problems. Last month I could not locate the key so AA came out and programmed a new key however they didn’t do it properly and didn’t programme it with the immobiliser. Then I found the original key inside the rubber lining of the washing machine so it has been exposed to water. It’s been left out to dry but haven’t tried it but the battery is dead. My partner tried to repair the battery with a smart charger but to no avail so will need a new battery and as so don’t know if the original key will work.
This would be ideal for someone that knows an automotive locksmith.
It drove amazingly and the gearbox is smooth, no juddering, no slipping of gears etc.
Bodywork could do with some TLC and in the right hands could get this car running like it used to.
No MOT currently on it.
Oil and filters changed just before I stopped driving it.
WILL NEED TO BE TOWED AWAY OR A FLATBED.
Very Fast little car.
