ESTABLISHED GROWING BUSINESS EXPERIENCE IN A FAST PACED FMCG ENVIRONMENT ESSENTIAL FLEXIBILE LOCATION (CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UK) Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued growth, have an exciting new role for an experienced Senior Business Manager to lead and grow business across the Tesco Group (Tesco, Booker, One Stop), including key growth areas such as Tesco Ireland, Tesco Café, and PFS, delivering strategic and commercial excellence. As the senior account lead and number two to the Head of Retail, this role requires high levels of autonomy, commercial acumen, and a relentless drive for unlocking new business opportunities within established and emerging customer channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and manage the strategic relationship with Tesco Group across all trading divisions. Develop and execute detailed joint business plans (JBPs) aligned with both customer and company objectives. Identify, develop, and deliver growth opportunities within current customers particularly Tesco Ireland, Tesco Café, PFS, and Booker National Accounts. Be the commercial lead and subject matter expert for the Tesco group within the business. Maintain full accountability for customer P&L, delivering budgeted revenue and margin targets. Lead forecasting, promotional planning, and accurate demand projections with excellence in execution. Collaborate with internal functions including marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver exceptional service and activation. Deliver strong, insight–led selling stories using internal and external data sources to influence customer decisions. Act as a mentor to more junior team members and support the Head of Retail in broader strategic projects. Skills and Experience

Experience with Tesco Group across all trading divisions. Strong commercial acumen; able to build profitable and sustainable business plans. Highly collaborative but also capable of operating autonomously in a fast–paced, agile SME environment. Resilient, results–driven, and comfortable with ambiguity and change. Experience with accurate sales forecasting and full P&L accountability.
