Position: Sales Team Leader

Location: Mitcham, London

Salary: GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM; every other Saturday, 7 AM - 3 PM

About the Role:

As the Sales Team Leader at Desi Building Materials Supplies Ltd., you will lead and inspire a dedicated sales team to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving sales targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.

Develop and maintain an effective strategy for customer engagement and sales growth.

Explore and capitalise on sales opportunities and large-scale projects to maximise both sales and margins.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of quotes, and maintain an effective quote bank.

Represent the company professionally in all dealings with existing and potential clients.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sales Team Leader or similar leadership role in sales.

Strong track record of sales performance specifically within the builders' merchant or building materials industry.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving excellent results.

High degree of professionalism and dedication to customer service.

Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales and customer management.

Eligibility to work in the UK.
