Lifecycle Marketing Manager
30,000 – 40,000, Eastbourne, Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm, Permanent, increasing annual leave with service and buy–back scheme, casual dress, company events, free drinks and snacks in staff games room, employee benefits package, hybrid working (2 days in office)
The Role
We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to manage and optimise acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value initiatives for a leading technology provider in the online auction sector. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this is a strategic and hands–on position with ownership across the full customer journey. You will manage omnichannel communications, including email, SMS/WhatsApp, push notifications, and digital marketing, while using a sophisticated CRM system to deliver highly targeted and personalised campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing CRM strategies to improve customer conversion, loyalty, and revenueImplementing strategies to attract, capture, and convert new visitor dataOverseeing CRM system management, ensuring data accuracy and user access controlAnalysing customer data to identify trends, segmentation opportunities, and personalisation strategiesProducing reports to track KPIs and highlight improvement areasEnsuring compliance with data regulations, including GDPRCollaborating with agencies, designers, and data teams to optimise communicationsSupporting the implementation of Bloomreach CRM with agency partnersDriving increased customer retention, frequency of visits, and overall valueIdentifying opportunities for enhanced segmentation and automation
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be highly data–driven, proactive, and strategic, with 3–5 years of hands–on CRM experience in a platform such as Bloomreach (or similar enterprise–level system). Familiarity with Canva or Figma for light–touch email design is desirable, alongside proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and understanding of Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and A/B testing. Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are highly desirable. Experience in an enterprise–sized company is preferred to ensure a strong foundation in marketing processes, planning, and reporting.
This role could suit someone who has worked as a CRM Manager, Customer Retention Manager, or Digital Marketing Manager.
