Internal Sales Account Manager

GBP27,000 basic + quarterly commission (OTE GBP31,000+)

Rochdale Office–based

A market–leading, long–established textiles group with multiple UK sites is seeking a driven Internal Sales Account Manager to join its high–performing sales team at their Rochdale head office.

This is a full–time, office–based role working Monday to Friday, 8:45am 5:15pm, with the added benefit of a 4pm finish every other Friday.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, whilst providing support to the external sales team. The role is centred around excellent relationship management and service delivery, with a strong commercial focus.

Key responsibilities:

Proactively contact existing customers to maximise sales opportunities Understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, and up–sell where appropriate Build long–term relationships to encourage repeat and regular business Keep up to date with new product launches, promotions, and company initiatives Support Area Sales Managers with business development activities Liaise with internal departments and external carriers to ensure seamless customer service THE PERSON

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for sales and customer care. Previous experience in a similar internal sales or account management role is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.

You will need:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to build rapport and trust with customers A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic attitude Confidence in negotiating and identifying up–selling opportunities This role would suit someone self–motivated, ambitious and keen to grow their career within a successful and expanding organisation.
