Roof Repair. I chose Bright Star Roofing to re-felt the roof.of my house. I feel they did an excellent job. Their personnel were, competent, conscientious and diligent. Communication was very good with plenty of information about the on-going work. They met their schedules, turned up on time, even worked under flood lights to make up time lost because of the weather. The project was well managed and the work of excellent quality.. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for similar work.

Everything explained about the problem with my roof. It was sorted and materials ordered to complete. Workmen were polite and helpful.

I contacted Bright Star to have them replace my guttering , because we had overflow problems on the corners. Within a minute the phone rang and it was George . He impressed me with his politeness and interest to take on the work. He visited our home and looked at our guttering. He gave us a price including scaffolding which was very reasonable compared to a cost given by a previous company two years prior. The scaffolding was erected ready for the job. George and his father in-law arrived and immediately began work. George called for me to climb the scaffold to show me what he was doing . When I was up there I could see problems with some tiles . The roof itself was original from the late 1940s . George and I moved around the roof checking tiles and removing some to check the rafters . That exposed the fact the felting was rotten all around . Add to that previous installers had screwed through the guttering into the fascia allowing water to enter the roof .Then I discovered the soffits were not fitted correctly and were just hanging off the below the rafters. The whole roof was a mess. George said it would be no problem to take off the tiles and re felt and put back the tiles with some replaced. Ι decided to have new tiles and an old unused chimney removed . I added new facia and soffits to complete the job . All the while George just answered my questions with no sale tactics . Then to add to that I saw they did house painting . Promptly added this as well . George went to his van and came back with a price for the whole job. it was less than a new roof price on my conservatory I had 5 years ago . We then met the other members of Bright Star , Luke and Ryan . Who were just as likeable as George and really knew what they were doing. Now the job is done ( and other small jobs were done as they came across them , at no extra charge including reroofing my porch. ) I have to say meeting these guys was a total pleasure. So I can wholly recommend this company . To summarise . Very nice and polite , hardworking , taking pride in their work . Respect for their customers , attention to detail and trust worthy. George , Luke and Ryan thank you so much.
