Part-Time Customer Account Coordinator

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 pro-rata (30 hours per week – flexible between 8:30am and 5pm)

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire PE27

Are you passionate about building and growing customer relationships while delivering exceptional service? We are proud to be working with a well-established, award-winning manufacturer based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, known for bespoke engineered products supplied globally. As the business expands, they’re looking for a proactive Customer Account Coordinator to join a friendly, collaborative team.

In this part-time role with long-term potential, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing customer accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and global shipping coordination. Working closely with the Sales Office Manager and international colleagues, you’ll help drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the company’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

* Delivering professional, friendly customer support to both internal teams and external clients

* Managing and nurturing relationships with UK and international distributors and direct customers

* Proactively following up on quotes and ensuring customer satisfaction

* Handling inbound enquiries via phone and email with efficiency and accuracy

* Processing quotes and orders using the company’s ERP system

* Coordinating with the production team to ensure on-time delivery

* Organising global shipments and managing export documentation

* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer service

About You

* Proven experience in a customer service or account coordination role, preferably within manufacturing

* Strong communicator who enjoys building lasting customer relationships

* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

* Experience using ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Epicor

* Confident using MS Office, able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities

* A proactive problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented mindset
