Job Title: Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage

Location: Derby

Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience, qualifications & skills)

Working Hours: 40 hours a week

About the Role:

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity? Our client, a respected independent garage in Derby, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician who wants to work in a supportive, well-established garage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

The Vehicle Technician will work efficiently to diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard.

Each Vehicle Technician will ensure all work aligns with health and safety regulations.

A successful Vehicle Technician in this garage will be confident in both independent and team work.

Contribute to a clean and organised workshop as a responsible Vehicle Technician.Minimum Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential for this Vehicle Technician role.

At least 2 years’ experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally in a garage setting.

Full UK driving licence is a must for the Vehicle Technician position.

Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability expected from any Vehicle Technician.Why Join?
