Purchasing / Procurement Administrator - Creative Industry Leader

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (pro rata for part-time) + excellent benefits

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs) or part-time (min 32 hrs) - Office based

Location: Newcastle City Centre - free parking available

Office Angels is excited to be recruiting for an experienced Purchasing / Procurement Administrator to join a well-established, market-leading business in the creative sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a talented Purchasing Manager, liaising with suppliers, tracking orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.

If you're organised, detail-focused, and enjoy building great working relationships, this role could be the perfect fit. Experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or strong admin skills from a similar environment will help you thrive.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (pro rata for part-time)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm (40-hour week) - will consider candidates who can work between 32-40 hours

Fully office based position

Holiday: 33 days (including bank holidays)

What you'll be doing:

Assisting with the purchase of materials, supplies, and equipment for projects

Maintaining accurate purchase orders, records, and supplier details

Liaising with suppliers to confirm costs, quantities, and delivery dates

Tracking inventory levels and supporting stock control

Providing administrative support to the Purchasing Manager

Negotiating prices and terms where appropriate

What we're looking for:

Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or a similar administrative role

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident communication skills - written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
