POST Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a market-leading organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that places innovation, sustainability, and strategic growth at the heart of everything it does.

As Procurement Manager, you’ll lead the operational development and delivery of procurement across the business. You’ll be instrumental in driving efficiencies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing supplier relationships — all while overseeing the on-site Warehouse team responsible for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain the company’s procurement strategy and operational processes in line with ISO quality management standards.

* Ensure compliance with national/international procurement and transportation regulations.

* Analyse internal and external data to drive cost-saving initiatives, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

* Fully utilise procurement and data management systems for effective procurement and stock control.

* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise value, mitigate risk, and enhance service delivery.

* Oversee supplier contracts and ensure compliance with SLAs through regular reviews.

* Support internal teams with contract management, renewals, and value-for-money analysis.

* Manage a high-performing Warehouse and Procurement team:

* Set and review KPIs.

* Conduct appraisals and regular 1:1s.

* Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance within Warehouse operations.

* Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours:

* Strong financial and numerical skills.

* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

* Strategic mindset with commercial awareness.

* Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

* Strong negotiation and networking abilities.

* IT proficiency, particularly with procurement systems and Microsoft Office.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Proven leadership and team development capabilities.

* Strong planning and prioritisation skills.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

* Industry-recognised qualification (e.g. CIPS / NVQ in Procurement).

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a procurement role, with demonstrable success in both strategic and operational procurement.

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is making a real impact in its sector. You’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative environment where your skills and ideas will be valued and developed.
