We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our team at a busy off licence. The ideal candidate will be friendly, responsible, and able to communicate effectively in English. This is a customer-facing role requiring efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in a polite and professional manner
Restock shelves and ensure displays are neat and well-organised
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shop, including shop floor, stock room, and common areas
Receive, unpack, and organise deliveries in the stock room
Monitor stock levels and report shortages
Adhere to age-restricted sales laws and store policies
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operation

Requirements:

Good spoken English communication skills
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends
Trustworthy and punctual with a strong work ethic

Working Conditions:

Standing for extended periods
Lifting and moving stock
Working in a fast-paced retail environment
