MOT Tester - Prestige Dealership, Farnborough

Location: Farnborough

Salary: Competitive basic + bonus + benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and qualified MOT Tester to join our client's prestige automotive dealership in Farnborough. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a premium brand, delivering high standards of vehicle safety, compliance, and customer service.

As an MOT Tester, you will play a vital role within the aftersales team, ensuring all vehicles are tested to DVSA standards, while supporting the wider workshop team with maintenance and repair work when required.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations.

Accurately complete MOT documentation and record-keeping.

Identify, report, and advise on vehicle defects and service requirements.

Support the workshop team with general service and repair work when workshop capacity allows.

Maintain a high level of workshop safety, cleanliness, and compliance.

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles are tested efficiently and correctly.

Skills & Experience Required

Qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA Smart Card (Classes 4 & 7 preferable).

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).

Strong technical knowledge across a range of vehicles.

Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
