Renault Megane 1.6 Convertible/cabriolet.

Stunning car ready for summer!

MOT 8 months, Mid April 2026!

A beautiful looking car and an amazing drive.

Petrol.

First registered 31/12/1999-01/01/2000.

Yellow/Black.

Mileage-66,450 very low miles for age.

Pretty immaculate condition inside (almost showroom) and out (two blemishes as pictured that have been touched up by previous owner and a few very minor stone chips) given its age.
As pictured there is some sealant inside the drivers door/window seal but no leaks whatsoever and no leaks in the roof which is in great condition.
Slight bubbling on arch.

I’m only the third owner and it’s been extremely well maintained with lots of extensive service history and paperwork for parts.

2 keys/fobs, one with original Renault wallet to keep the key inside!

Original Renault booklets including the network booklet, 2 x drivers manuals, the audio booklet and the warranty/servicing booklet with lots of stamps from main Renault dealer.
Radio key code present all kept inside the original Renault booklet holder.

Original booklets from the showroom it was bought new from!

Original Renault Stereo!

It looks like it was originally bought and imported from Amsterdam in November 1999!
It had a change of number plate a few years ago as was a private plate owned by the first and long time lady owner and have the paperwork.

Everything works as it should (one front fog light bulb needs replacing) including all electric mirrors/windows/convertible roof, lights etc. It’s a real pleasure to drive and gets lots of attention.
The hazard switch is being temperamental but an easy/cheap fix.
The mot advisory mentions slight cracking on the 2 front tyres but there is a Goodyear spare and a Continental spare that are both new, full size and in great condition. I would have the 2 spares on the front and the front passenger tyre would make a useable spare itself.

I’ve just had a near side front wheel bearing replaced and have the paperwork for that.

Drives spot on with no issues.
Test drives (with valid insurance) and inspections welcome though car is now sorn. Easy to sort tax and insurance though.

Circumstances have changed so will be sad to see it go as these are becoming very rare in this colour and condition with an actual soft top (Karmann roof who also manufacture the VW Golf soft top roofs).
Will be a collectors/classic car in the near future.

Decent on fuel, tax and insurance.

The aerial on the back automatically pops up and retracts when stereo is on/off.

The roof looks amazing when it’s going up or down with the space behind the back window opening up for it to fit into which with the roof up or down still leaves the whole boot space and with the roof up you can store items in the space for the soft top. All at the press of a button.

Comes with 2 full size spare tyres, jack and tools.

Also includes is a little bottle of touch up paint.

TyresAlloys in good condition (apart from what I’ve already mentioned) as is everything else as you can see in the pictures and video.

It’s averaged 500 or so miles a year for over the last 10 years!

Full V5 present in my name.

Oil filter (numerous times) washer cap sealin (numerous times) re-secured ABS wiring, re-sealed n/s/f tyre bead, new battery,
brake cleaner, oil changes, coil spring,

Replaced front brake discs and pads.

Replaced timing belt and water pump at over 62,000 miles. Timing belt kit, tensioner and aux belt.

Replaced both front tyres and balanced wheels.

Alternator changed.

Looking for £2100 which is a good price considering it’s condition, service history, mileage and all the work/new parts it’s had plus 8 months MOT!
