Anyway, welcome to our listing for this VERY RARE "" Alien green metallic"" , yes that's the Renault name for it, coloured Clio.
Collected and driven over 80 miles back to Lincoln.
Que the usual second hand car dealer speak, of the car drove well, mint car, easy to drive, blah , blah blah.....

In truth, it was probably one of the worst drives back ive ever done.
The rear wheel bearing was completely shot.
I should have had it collected, but I persevered, a maximum 50 mph along the M62, being passed by literally everything.
The noise was horrendous,
It was raining and the heater motor didn't work, so the windscreen misted up, drivers window didn't work, so no air coming in.
Oh the joys of the motor trade....

If your still with me ?
The cost to fix all this was just over £300,
New wheel bearing,
New heater motor,
New window switch,
Air bag light fix..
BUT now we know its all good to go and ready for some new adventures.
Oh, and a brand new key, as the original had lost its rubber buttons...

- MECHANICALS,
Now the car drives really well,
Its easy to hear how nice this 1.5 Dci engine sounds,
Mated to the slick 5 speed gearbox, it does change gears easily .
No knocks from the suspension, and the car is really quiet .
It does drive well....

- EXTERIOR:
Yes we did buy this car solely on the colour,
You'll not find another one like this, and its an original colour too.
Silver mirrors caps highlight the door handles and rub strips,
Alloys all in good condition, passenger side the worst for kerning, but has been lovingly touched in.
No real scratches on the paintwork,
No bumper scuffs or major scratches either.
All the paintwork looks in amazing condition,
No dents I can see, and only the odd, tiny blemish, as you'd expect on a car that's done 136k...

- INTERIOR:
The car is really , really clean inside, so must have been loved by its last owner.
The seats are hard wearing black cloth trim, with ribbed effect, quite unique to this model of Clio.
Fully shampooed and looking in great condition ,
Amazingly for the miles, there are No holes, and only minimal abrasion to the bolster.
All switches work as they should,

Having spent 18 years in the motor trade, owning our own business as a car painter and refinisher, time and mainly my back and knees caught up with me !

So now we source and sell cars direct from the trade we used to work with.

All cars are driven a minimum of 40 miles, so we can assess the creeks and groans.

Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.

Where possible we source full service history cars.

Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.

I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
