Description
Early 1950's box style record player stating by appointment to the late King George VI as seen on the label. Very nice totally original condition. It has a valve amp and speaker inside the well made heavy wooden cabinet box. Turn table spins, as to be expected no sound from speaker. But electrically very simple and easily fixed, contains just a couple of valves and original capacitors so very little to replace. Untouched, not been got at, has been in storage for many years, case has been wiped over with a duster but still looks clean and in very tidy condition for its age. Iconic design featured on the Columbia 78 record sleeve artwork showing teenagers enjoying playing their records. Collectable piece, cannot find another currently avertised for sale. Asking £50 or make me an offer as not sure what its worth. Collection only from Maidstone Kent
