Experience living in an alternative community in the heart of Bristol!

We are Co-housing Bristol, a co-housing community in Bedminster. We have a single room available at Lower Knowle Farm - a 7-bedroom, grade 2 listed farmhouse 45 minutes walk/15-minute bus from the city centre.

The room is a pretty single bedroom with space for a sofa/chairs and a desk. The room is unfurnished. The house itself has a huge kitchen, a large living room with a piano, and access to large shared gardens as well as parking and EV charging. The room would be £725 p/m, including bills and council tax, available from 14 July.

There are 6 of us living in the farmhouse currently. We are a multigenerational household. We are sociable and aim to share a meal once a week- but also recognise that we all have our own schedules and need our own space.

The site itself is home to a wider co-housing community of around 20 people - including young families with children. There is a large shared garden and allotment space available for each resident to have one. We regularly host shared meals/potlucks with the wider community, meet together to make shared decisions and muck in to work-parties (e. g. to get the gardening done).
