Location

I’m in Hackney, really handy for getting around. About 20 minutes to Canary Wharf on the bus, and not far from Stratford either. You’re basically a few minutes’ walk to London Fields, which is brilliant - loads of good restaurants, bars, cafes, and proper nightlife. It’s a really diverse area, very LGBTQ+ friendly, and you get a proper mix of people - young professionals, artists, families, all sorts.

The overground is close by so you can get anywhere in London pretty easily.

The Flat

It’s a decent-sized 1-bedroom on the first floor of a newly renovated flat.

Bedroom: Double bed with new mattress, looks out onto a quiet back garden (it’s communal but lovely to have). You get a really good night’s sleep - the street’s quiet and the neighbors are sound.

Bathroom: Proper shower room with one of those big overhead rainfall showers that covers your whole body.

Living area: Open plan with the kitchen, wood floors throughout, comfy full-size sofa.

The flat overlooks the communal garden which is really peaceful. Safe area, friendly neighbors.

Kitchen stuff:

- Full-size fridge, washing machine, dryer
- Kettle, toaster, blender, all the basics for cooking

Entertainment:

- TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, iPlayer, ITV Hub
- Fast internet (good for working from home if needed)

Everything else:

- All utilities included - electricity, gas, water, council tax, internet
- Fresh bedding and towels
- Quiet street/flat, good for sleeping

Honestly, just someone who’ll look after the place while I’m away. Perfect if you’re:

- Working in London temporarily (easy commute to Canary Wharf)
- Visiting and want to stay somewhere with character rather than a hotel
- Want to experience proper London living in a great neighborhood

House Rules

Pretty straightforward:

- No smoking inside
- Keep noise reasonable, especially after 10pm
- Max 2 people
- Be considerate with the shared garden space
- Minimum 7 nights
- Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am
- £200 deposit (you’ll get it back if everything’s fine)
