Black Widow FilmSCAN 2000 USB 35mm film/slide scanner, NOT WORKING. For repair or spares.
Scanner lights up and is recognised on my aged Windows XP system but just makes noise and doesn't work when initialising from the PC. On opening it up and testing I can see it's the motor that's failed.
The 12volt 1amp power supply it came with is also no longer working. (I tested with another; not supplied).
FWIW, comes with the user manual and installation CD. I don't think there are any drivers for it for after Windows XP.
I believe this is a rebadged Pacific Image Electronics PrimeFilm PF1800U.
