Welcome. My name is Kym Winup and I am a Person Centered Counsellor and member of the BACP (registration number 00918228) I am also a qualified Life Coach (CPCAB). As a Person Centred Counsellor I provide clients with a safe place in which they can grow and develop, overcome beliefs and behaviours that are preventing them from reaching their full potential. My experience enables me to offer effective, individual, psychological care.

I work with a wide range of areas including depression, PTSD,substance misuse, anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement, pet bereavement, work/school based stress and helping clients to find direction in life. I provide a neutral, non judgmental, safe space to individuals, families, and couples work through the issues that brought them to a counsellor. I am an experienced couples counsellor.

I can offer a face to face service in Greenwich, London, or virtually via Zoom, Skype, Doxy.me, WhatsApp or FaceTime.

Life can be difficult and we can face challenges and if you are carrying old and new burdens this can make it even harder. As you are reading this then the chances are you are looking to talk over things with someone.  My aim is to help you talk through these issues and concerns, in the hope to empower you to find your own answers, which will help you to move forward in a life you can choose for yourself.

Counselling will help by looking at your past, present and future; also your relationships, family and work to see how that's all affecting you. All these things can impact you in the here and now. Together we can explore your behaviour and beliefs and decide what is serving you well and worth keeping and what is holding you back and you need to get rid off. Together we work towards a way of life that gives you peace and satisfaction for now and the future.

Deciding to seek counselling is often a difficult decision. There are lots of counsellors to trawl through and lots of profiles to read. There are lots of things to consider; cost, location, gender, ethnicity - even what kind of counselling the counsellor provides. Once you have decided it is always helpful to have a chat with the counsellor first so you can ask any questions you may have and get a sense of if you can work with together.

Note the fees below are for face to face sessions. Rates for online sessions are less - not because online counselling isn’t as effective as face to face - but because my costs are reduced and I can pass those savings on to my clients. Please get in touch with me for more details.
