Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!

Part our French copper kitchenalia collection, we got this set from an antique dealer in Chatillon sur Seine, Burgundy, but they apparently originally came from the clearance of a local Chocolaterie/Patisserie.
It’s a set of seven well used graduated copper pans with copper riveted iron handles that I’m advised date to around the 1960s.
All are unlined and according to my advice this is usual in French pans used in the making of sweet products (apparently unlined copper is only suitable for sweet foods as the copper reacts with the salt in savoury foods).
A nice range of sizes from large to small - 20 cm diameter, 18 cm, 16 cm, 14.5 cm, 12 cm, 10 cm and 8 cm - they display really well.
Now worn they make an instant “batterie de cuisine” set that is well used but still sound, bright, and probably functional with the right food types, and also make great decorative pieces of French kitchenalia.

In good vintage condition with wear, knocks and staining consistent with age and use - please examine photographs carefully for condition.
In more or less as found condition, these have just had a thorough wash and I’m sure they would polish up nicely if so required.
All stand well.
The copper is in good, sound, used condition with some tarnishing, staining, knocks, a few dents, scratches and wear - see photos.
Some pans are slightly misshapen from the circular from use but there is very little flex to the copper sides.
I have found several small dents and knocks, presumably from use, which I’ve tried to photograph, but nothing serious or significant - see photos.
The iron handles are cast in a rustic manner with ridges showing but are in a good, sound, condition with some wear and a little rust.
There are prominent copper rivets to the handle joints, triple to the largest pans double to the smallest two, and all handles are secure with no movement.
The interiors are used with wear and staining but sound - see photos.
I can find no maker’s mark.

8 cm diameter, 3.5 cm tall, 17 cm long,
Weigh about 4.3 kg in total.
