VINTAGE FRENCH ALUMINIUM PANS, SET OF SIX SAUCEPANS, 20-12cm diameter - TOURNUS - 1950s FRENCH KITCHENALIA

Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!

Part our French kitchenalia collection, we got these from a vide grenier at Molesme, Burgundy.
It’s a set of six very well used lightweight graduated aluminium pans with pouring spouts and wooden handles dating to the 1950s.
All are marked with the maker’s mark of TOURNUS, a renowned French cookware manufacturer.
A nice useful range of sizes - 20 cm diameter, 18 cm, 16 cm, two at 14 cm and 12 cm - they display really well.
Now very worn and quite battered they make an instant “batterie de cuisine” set that is very well used but still sound, bright, functional and also make great decorative pieces of French kitchenalia, for perhaps shepherds hut, glamping, shabby chic, country house purposes…

In good vintage condition with wear, dents, knocks and staining consistent with age and use - please examine photographs carefully for condition.
All stand well but some of the bases are a little concave from use - see photos.
The aluminium is very worn but in good, sound, used condition with some staining, knocks, a few dents, scratches and wear - see photos.
Some pans are misshapen from the circular but there is very little flex to the sides.
The pouring spouts are intact.
I have found several small dents and knocks, presumably from use, which I’ve tried to photograph, but nothing serious or significant - see photos.
The wooden handles are very worn with some burn marks and splits and couple are a little loose but they are secure and sound - see photos.
There are aluminium hanging loops to the handles that are worn with a couple a little loose and twisted but secure - see photos.
The interiors are well used with wear, pitting and staining but sound and watertight - see photos.
