vokera fs1, heat recovery unit for combi boiler, domestic hot water
Risca, Newport
£350
Description
vokera fuelsaver fs1, for pre heating your tap water before it goes through the main burner of your condensing combi boiler
a condensing boiler only condenses in heating mode so this device does the same thing for your hot water by taking much of the remaining heat out of the flue / exhaust gases. it wont make much difference if you just run a basin full of water, but for a bath or shower they make a 30% saving on gas used.
this will fit any condensing boiler with a 60/100mm concentric flue, which is standard on most modern boilers, the final flue can be vertical or horizontal. you also have to consider the distance off the wall, minimum is 125mm and the bracket allows 75mm of outward adjustment so 200mm max to centreline of flue., if your boiler has an elbow with a flange or different from a plain 60/100 male push fit, you may need a vertical flue adaptor between the boiler and this unit, then a plain elbow above it. i,m fitting 1 to my ideal logic which has a flanged standard elbow so i have to use their short vertical flue adaptor .
the extra condensate from this unit goes into the flue / condenser of the boiler and then down through the boilers trap and drain. so this unit is NOT suitable for a non condensing boiler..
collection near newport gwent np11.
you can see on the screenshot that they are normally £670, i,m selling for £350. i have many other plumbing items. including a plume management kit that will fit this fuelsaver, if your boiler flue is close to a window or doorway the plume kit takes the exhaust steam away.
