Description
These hardy evergreen palm trees whilst slow growing can reach 10 ft or more but will take many years, mid green pleated leaves up to 3ft across ate on toothed stalks up to 3ft long, small yellow flowers in dense panicles can appear in may or june on more mature trees, sometimes following flowering blue to black berries appear, easy to grow in any soil in sun or part shade in a sheltered position from north and east winds preferred, can be grown in pots and planters if watered
gradually upsizing pots as required.
these trees are (if you go to the garden centre or online) very expensive trees when large, buying them small and growing them on will save a lot of money or grown to sell on they will increase in value as they grow larger,
