Sorghum Saccharatum.
Only £18 !!
3 months ago this was a seedling only 6 inches high !! - see pic 4.
Fast growing with huge flower stalk.
Sends babies up from the base.
It has stout, jointed, fibrous stalks that are rich in sugar.
Simple to grow indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.
Canes can reach 6 to 18 feet.
Drought resistant and tolerates most soil types.
A perennial grass, its juice can be made into Rum, Syrup, Sugar crystals, Rock candy and also makes good livestock fodder.
