Description
Pyracantha (firethorn). Evergreen shrub. Easy to grow in any soil. Plant in sun or part shade. Excellent shrub for wildlife. White clusters of flowers in June - July which attract bees and pollinators, followed by orange coloured berries eaten by birds. The dense evergreen thorn bearing branches make an excellent place of safety for nesting birds. Grown in my own peat free organic compost. Height and spread up to 10ft unless trimmed to size.
