Rich in vitamin C, these evergreen lemon trees were potted up from seed at the beginning of August 2024. They have been grown indoors behind glass in a garden room. Some have recently been planted into larger yellow pots to encourage further growth. In the UK, Lemon trees are capable of surviving brief cold spells, but are best grown in large containers and moved to a bright indoor frost-free position such as a conservatory from Autumn to Spring.
The lemon trees have been enjoying some time outside with the glorious weather we have been having and would make a lovely gift. The two larger lemon trees shown in some of the photographs are not for sale. These were potted up a year earlier in July 2023 and look to be thriving after their second winter in the garden room. These two lemon trees are shown to give an idea of how much growth to expect after another year. The leaves could also be used to make lemon tea.
