WHY GROW THIS PLANT? It's always good to have easy-to-please plants in a garden, and this plant will grow almost anywhere. It has a very long flowering season and comes back neatly each year with fresh leaves and stems from the base. Besides in the garden, on banks, under hedges and on and in walls, you could also grow it in a container, or in cracks in your paving. It has good strong, fresh growth and .... it is slug-proof. Also it will seed itself around if you let it... that's why I have some spare!
