Description
Bay Tree Plants in pots - the perfect gift! Bays are ideal for container growing because of their slow growth and can be shaped into decorative lollipop topiaries. Difficult to grow from seed, Bays can take up to 6 months to germinate, but these are ready to go. Can be planted in the garden if you have space for a big tree, or keep it in the pot.
The bay leaf is used in stews and other long-simmering dishes and adds peppery bitter taste. Add the whole leaves at the beginning of the cooking process and remove them before serving. Bay leaf has a long shelf life of about a year.
