Description
Callistemon (bottle brush), evergreen shrub. Height up to 4 metres unless trimmed but this size takes approx 20 years. Bright red flowers spring and summer resembles a bottle brush and can be 6inches in length. Grow in acid to neutral soil or in very large planter in ericacious compost. Plant in sunny sheltered position, once established they are fairly drought tolerant.
