Description
This deep cobalt blue variety of the poppy flower is a sight to behold. The intriguing seed pods, the impressive 2 - 4" blooms and their beneficial properties have made it many lovers among gardeners, crafters, and folk medicine practitioners. Its immense appeal has also attracted wildlife such as bees, butterflies, and birds. Plant Height: up to 24", Planting Zones: 6 - 8. This amazing bloom is truly one of a kind.
GERMINATION:
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM. I know Blue Poppy is gorgeous but not everyone can grow them. They're not being temperamental but are cool natured and naturalized by the Dutch to cold winters and cool summers. The Blue Poppy is not a tropical and will not suffer extreme or dry heat.

ZONES: PERENNIAL 5-6
COLD STRATIFY: seeds in your refrigerator or freezer (90 days or all winter) sowing the seeds before the first frost in fall or after the last frost before Spring.
