Agapanthus (african lily), evergreen variety, large strap like leaves, large heads of numerous blue flowers from July to September, height approx 3ft, potted in own made peat free and organic compost, these are large pots and can be grown in the pots for at least a couple of years or planted into borders, Plant un fertile well drained soil in sunny sheltered position. easy to grow and striking plants in any border, TIP keep these plants in the large pots and restrict the roots as this encourages flowering and more blooms
