Jostaberry (Ribes 'Josta') combines the refreshing taste of blackcurrants with the mildly acidic flavour of gooseberries. The fruits ripen to a deep red, almost black colour by July making them a good mid season fruit. The health benefits of this plant are many with a very high level of vitamin c and antioxidants to be found these are a great addition to your diet
