Description
I’m an experienced tutor, having done this for over 20 years and have successfully tutored several dozen pupils. I visit pupils’ homes and cover Edinburgh, East and Mid Lothian
I am successful in my approach to tuition as I relate problems in school to “real-life” problems and applications, thus helping to motivate the tutee. As a tutor, I need to take the lead from the school/college through the pupil and adapt my basic style and personalise it to the pupil, ensuring that they understand the concepts covered and even setting problems that go beyond the curriculum to “stretch” the pupil, this is particularly important if they intend to use the subject at university.
