Where do I start? I mean I don’t think I can praise him enough! Shabaan was absolutely amazing! He came through , mingled and got along with the whole fam. Did a smashing job capturing all our precious moments. He worked with me to create a package that suited my budget and needs and he gave his 110% on the day. I am absolutely stunned with the photos and the videos. I would definitely recommend him and will most certainly be using his excellent skills and services again. More than anything I am just so so glad i have found my person for all future events! :-D

Sadly had a terrible experience with ShabaanPhotographyVideography. Hired to capture a 1h professional DJ set with 2x stationary cameras. Arrived 2 hours late to setup time. Lost/accidentally deleted 15 mins of footage, missing key moments. Arrived without adequate equipment despite being informed of shot requirements beforehand. Remaining footage was visibly crooked, with DJ’s head partially cropped out Camera going in and out of focus, shot in low-quality, grainy, 1080p. Despite “monitoring” the camera the entire set, he was unable to remedy the shot issues until the last 10 mins of the set. During (late) setup, he set up the camera visibly crooked multiple times, requiring constant direction. So much so that the DJ themselves ended up demonstrating how to frame the shot for him. Unfortunately, he was unable to re-create the shot when came time for the set. It became clear afterwards that he simply didn’t care about the job, quoting: “Some content is better than none”, “I was going to cancel on the day but I’d rather be late than not come at all”, “You didn’t tell me to shoot in 4K”, “This was a modest job not a commercial shoot with guaranteed outcomes”. Can't speak for other people's experiences nor his photography but unless you’re a commercial client that can provide a large budget such that he cares enough about your job, don't bother.

We booked Shabaan to cover our charity football match and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not only was he incredibly professional and punctual, but he captured the energy, emotion, and highlights of the day with genuine creativity. From action shots on the pitch to candid moments with family, every photo felt intentional. The final edits were delivered quickly and looked amazing — perfect for our socials. Highly recommend for anyone running an event and looking for a photographer who gets it and goes the extra mile. Thanks again from everyone at Southampton Charity Football Match FC!
