This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. , After the war, France was in need of transport for the masses, so manufacturers were eager to produce small capacity bikes to get the nation moving again,Peugeot's P55 twin-port, 125cc, hand-change 3-speed fitted the bill and was probably the equivalent of our BSA Bantam,This example is very rare, being UK-registered on 1/06/1949 and has remained in the UK since new,In, what appears to be, original paint this delightful machine displays a level of patina that can only be achieved through decades of use,Part of our vendor's large collection and described as in running order, although may need some light recommissioning prior to road use,A rare opportunity to buy an original, girder forked bike with a hand-change, something a bit different and far more interesting than a BSA Bantam ,Supplied with a current V5C and classed as 'Historic',
