We went to the Ardingly show today. Lots and lots of dogs. Tilly behaved impeccably. We couldn't have dreamt of this before Matt's training

Matt at Hound Masters has been a god send for our family and has really helped us tackle reactivity issues with our rescue dog, Koko. He is patient, knowledgable and calm and instantly forms a really special bond with every dog he meets. We have seen huge improvements and are very grateful for all he has done for us. Matt is fantastic at keeping in contact - he checks in regularly, sends videos with tips and advice and ensures he is available to give ongoing support between sessions. Koko is a much more relaxed and happy hound and we have even enjoyed dog walks with his 4 girls, something I would never have imagined possible prior to working with him. Working with Matt was great. We had sessions previously with a different dog trainer but made no progress. With Matt the impact was clear. Our dog is now a lot happier and our lives a lot easier. I would highly recommend his services

Matt is an absolutely brilliant trainer, I had been taking my dog for walks when he was young and found that as he grew up I struggled plenty due to his big size and awful pulling habit. I left it to other family members to walk him and after a few lessons between them and Matt, I had a session with him and was absolutely stunned to see how the difference. He was so well behaved and walked so nicely, Matt gave me plenty of tips and advice which made things even easier. Absolutely amazing. Truly an knowledgable trainer and a very kind, patient man 👏 thank you

Matt’s training was absolutely fantastic. Our lab (Margot) was 5 months old when we started training with Matt and the progress she made was incredible. We focussed on resource guarding, jumping up, loose lead walking, recall and being reactive to other dogs. Matt embedded confidence in us as owners and built trust with Margot throughout the training course. Every session is filmed so you can look over the methods and watch your own body language when interacting with your dog which was really helpful. Matt also introduced Margot to two of his own dogs so we could test recall with distractions. We love Margot unconditionally but we can honestly say after working with Matt that love has grown even more. Walks are more enjoyable, our bond with Margot has grown stronger and we feel confident in our implementation of training techniques. We continue to be in contact with Matt as he offers ongoing support.
