Description

I am fully certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, as well as being an amateur [mens' physique] bodybuilder, with very recent top 3 placings in 4 Scottish and UK-wide bodybuilding competitions. I specialise in coaching clients in strength & conditioning, focused on weight loss, toning and building lean muscle. My 1-1 PT sessions normally take place in Extreme Gym, Bridgeton. Glasgow of in Team NFA Gym, Morris Park, Glasgow.

I regularly run 'Titan Accelerator' 6-week group coaching programmes for men and women who are trying to lose weight , tone up and build lean muscle. The programme is delivered in small groups of 4-8 clients with 2 strength and conditioning sessions per week and clients are also given full personalised nutrition plans to follow, with weekly check-ins to track changes in weight and body measurements over time. The programmes run every month in my private PT gym in Milngavie, Glasgow.

In addition to my work as a PT, I am also a fully certified Boxercise coach, Life Coach, Meditation & Breathing Coach, a Professional Hypnotherapist and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.

My holistic and multi-tooled approach means that I specialise in supporting clients with their physical and mental health together.

Giving thought to retiring and having never lost a day's work through ill health, wanted to ensure I could keep any aches and pains at bay for as long as possible plus increase core strength. Investing in yourself is a "must-do", not a "would like to do" and have found Ross listens to what you would like to achieve, the reasons and thought process behind it then devises a very bespoke programme that delivers !! Currently on my 3rd block of 12 one to one sessions (coupled with Ross's boot camps 3 times a week) my focus is on improving muscle groups aimed at road cycling along with core work. Hard work, focus and an appreciation that this is a journey. Even better am still eating what I always did including plenty of cake yet fitter than ever plus now pulling and pushing double the weights I was this time last year. An excellent manner, very knowledgeable and delivered in a professional manner, I would recommend Ross to anyone without hesitation.

It's hard to fully appreciate how much Ross's coaching and tuition has done for me. I needed a wake-up call. I was overweight, eating unhealthily, had no confidence and no motivation to exercise. Ross was so supportive and after three months working alongside him I had lost weight, gained confidence and had a new found motivation for keeping fit. This also fed into my working life and my relationship. I have a solid routine and a renewed energy for life. Thanks Ross :)

I contacted Ross re: hypnotherapy to stop smoking. I had started again after 20 years of quitting and was really struggling to quit second time around. We had an initial telephone consultation where Ross gathered a lot of information to make sure the hypnotherapy session would be tailored specifically to me. The sessions were great, Ross makes you feel very at ease and I was able to completely relax and get the most out of it. I've stopped smoking without any effort really. I highly recommend Ross to anyone who is considering hypnotherapy for any reason.

I learned so much from Ross! His workouts were always varied and based on the exercises I really enjoyed . He helped to build my confidence so that I can now make my own plans and attend the gym on my own knowing what to do and how to use the equipment. His knowledge of fitness, nutrition and how to keep a healthy mind is amazing and he always wants to learn more. He is committed and flexible and is always there when you need any advice. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ross and I look forward to learning more from him in the future, he is a fantastic personal trainer.
