Description
Here we have for sale a large delightful bird study by the renowned artist Kenneth J Woods.
Entitled Bird Studies 2 the picture shows a total of nine common British birds in almost life-sized detail.
Kenneth J Wood lived and worked in Surrey during the 1970s – 90s. He died suddenly whilst quite young and was the Honourable Secretary of the Society of Wildlife Artists until the 1990s.
His work was often used by the RSPB and one was featured on the cover of the BIRDs magazine.
This study contains detailed and realistic studies of the following individual birds:
• Great Tit
• Whinchat
• Lesser White Throat
• Crested Tit
• Goldcrest
• Yellow Wagtail
• Lesser Redpoll
• Redstart
• Nightingale
The framed picture measures overall 77cms X 45cms (30.25 inches X 17.75 inches)
