Description
New large needlepoint picture expertly hand stitched. Framed under glass. Vibrant highly coloured pure wool yarn. Kit from a National Trust historic house property, reproducing an original picture. See last two photos of information leaflet on the Packwood Screen, Packwood House, Warwickshire. Composition is a wide range of flowers and foliage, set on a dark brown ground.
Style is seventeenth century Dutch, with the floral display in a Dutch style porcelain blue and white container. Exquisite stitching and design.
Oblong shape: height 65 cm width 54 cm. Was professionally framed in a brown wood frame with a card insert under glass (which cost £85).
New. Please ignore any light reflections from the photography.
