Purchased in the mid 1980s from the prestigious Feathers Gallery in Ludlow Shropshire, this extremely rare signed Eugene Sturgeon print was bought as an investment and so it has proved to be.
Sturgeon’s works and these personally signed editions are now so highly sought after that the original true website sturgeonpublications co uk has been cloned in order to sell the artists work.
Make no mistake, this is an extremely opportunity to purchase this print which is now only available on the secondary market.
Sturgeon produced 2 paintings of this scene, one with a wall on the right hand foreground, which can be seen on the aforementioned website and this version with the tree and two old men chatting in the shade of it.
The frame measures 57cm x 46.5cm and the image is 255mm x 360mm
It has a canvas finished mount and dispite its age it is in very good condition
Listed as collection only as no commercial carrier will insure items containing glass
