A signed Alan Reed Artists proof 16/40 print, mounted and framed in excellent condition.
The print shows a scene of Princes Street, Edinburgh which captures the hustle and bustle of a late winter’s afternoon. Painted in blues, greys, and an amber light.
The Artist has drawn a sketch of Edinburgh Castle in pencil at the bottom left of the print together with his Signature and Artists proof 16/40 on the right, see photographs. The print is titled Princes Street Edinburgh. The mounts and wash lines enhance the painting. Framed in a quality brushed gold deep frame. I believe the print was mounted and framed by the artist. Purchased and owned from new costing £225 in 2001.
