6 high quality framed art prints, all glazed
The two Italian urn prints are framed in decorative gilded frames. These are prints of works by Italian classical artist Giovanni Piranesi of antique cinerary urns, one decorated with a frieze of bacchantes and the other with a sea horse in relief. The original drawings are in the Vatican Library. There is a tiny bit of chipping to the gilding on the frame. Each framed print measures 580mm (w) x 710mm (h).
Four pineapple prints in solid timber frames - the prints are based on watercolours from 1815 by Willliam Hooker, originally commissioned by the RHS to help standardise the nomenclature of cultivated fruit. Each framed print measures 465mm (w) x 560mm (h). They look fabulous as a set.
