Description
Arcade supergun MK II is compatible with NeoGeo MVS motherboards and JAMMA arcade pcbs. DC type microswitch arcade controls can be directly wired to the two 10 way terminal blocks. The pcb legend identifies the connections. A 3 way terminal block has connections for NeoGeo select and test functions.
Because many arcade pcbs don’t strictly adhere to the PAL or NTSC TV sync signal standard i have included a sync correct circuit. If an arcade pcb causes flickering colours or the colours are completely wrong changing the sync correct switch should fix the problem. For arcade pcbs with very unusual sync signals i have included
Sync amplitude and width adjustments. I have included RGB adjustments to allow the gamer to adjust the colours to his/her preference. On the composite video connection there may be an amount of the distortion called dot crawl.
You can use a wide range of passive speakers, from 2W to 15W but ideally i recommend you use stereo passive speakers with a combined Speaker power of 10W and each speaker having 8 ohms impedance. You can use a wide range of ATX power supplies, from 100W to 600W but ideally i recommend you use one with a 400W Power rating and have an on/off switch.
There are static sensitive components on the arcade supergun. Please momentarily ground yourself by touching the metal case of the ATX Power supply before changing arcade pcbs attached to the supergun.
