Heavy Duty single motorbike motorcycle superbike trailer

Hi, I’m selling my motorbike trailer as I’ve now upgraded to a newer trailer so this one is no longer required. It’s a custom built unbraked trailer that is apparently fabricated by someone in Fife, so I was told by the person who I bought it from over 7 years ago so im unsure of its age. It’s a box steel frame with Vauxhall 4x100 hubs and steel 14” wheels.

The only 2 modifications I’ve done is to add a Sealey Wheel Chock so the motorbike fits safely while being secured. Also I added a jockey wheel as the trailer originally came with a static stand, which is also still fitted and can be used without the jockey wheel so the trailer wont roll away.

The trailer is very light and can easily be moved about by a single person alone, even loaded with a motorbike on it as the jockey wheel is more than capable of rolling around fully loaded. The last picture shows the trailer loaded with one of my old Fireblades, and the heaviest bike I’ve had on it is my old VFR800 VTEC. It can take heavier and longer bikes with the rear ramp removed, so long as the rear wheel still sits within the frame.

It’s been faultless over the past 7 years and was stored indoors for the first 6 years of my ownership in my warehouse, for the past 6 months however it’s been stored at home due to no warehouse space. I’ve topped up the red oxide coating so its been kept in good condition.

The tyres are brand new and have only done approximately 100 miles, I had the spare wheel tyre replaced with a part worn due to age as the original spare tyre was over 10 years old. The new spare tyre has a date range in the last few years. The trailer board is also new and wired into a splitter box under the trailer due to having additional side marker lights on the mud guards which also work correctly.

Trailer size is shown in the pictures. I will include the yellow hitch lock with 2 keys as it does not fit my new trailer, also the hitch handle itself also has 2 keys which will also be supplied.

If sold for full price I’ll include a folding bike ramp that fits into the boot of any car easily, as its safer to load with a longer ramp than the wee short one that’s on the bike. The short one on the trailer is handy to see out the rear view without a bike on the trailer for gauging distance when reversing, which is why I always leave it on.
