This is a rare Russ Andrews LINN Sondek LP-12 . Russ Andrews who in the early days teamed up with Linn’s Ivor with various projects and later developed his own modified version of the LP 12 . He took the Valhalla Power supply board which were usually installed inside the LP 12 and enclosed with an improved power supply , with less interference using high quality Kimber cabling and power cord . The arm of the LP 12 is a Rega tonearm with a Denon MM - DL 103R ( in mint condition ) . The arm board which is where Rega Arm sits on is a Russ Andrews developed - Torlyte which is a super dense material for the tonearm to be stable when playing a record . Nothing was spared in making this LP 12 , from the 13 amp power plug to all the cabling which in the most part Kimber high quality cables to all the connectors which make the sound of this LP 12 special . The overall condition is very good light blemishes on the dust cover , hinges are v good keeping the lid open when playing if needed along with the wiring which have been checked and tested .
