Beautifully restored corner pew from the grade A listed building Hyndland Parish Church.
Hyndland Parish Church was built in 1887. The church was designed by renowned Glasgow architect William Leiper, who is famous for the former Templeton’s Carpet Factory at Glasgow Green. Hyndland parish church was recently sold.This corner pew is part of this church’s rich history. The pew has been restored by a reputable Glasgow restoration company and is in good condition although there is some wear and tear commensurate with its age.(as seen in the photographs). There is variation in colour throughout the pew but this does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Cushions were commissioned for this pew and can be seen in the photographs. These could be available for an additional cost. The bench separates into 2 parts for easier transport. Height of the 2 parts 84 cm, width of the 2parts 54 cm and length of each of the 2parts 135 and 140 cm. Buyer must organise collection.
