Hi! We're room 10, a swing band based in Yate and Bristol, We're made up of three saxes, trombone, clarinet, bass, keyboard, drums and female vocalist, and perform Frank and Ella type numbers - Fly Me To The Moon, Tuxedo Junction, Mack The Knife....stuff like that (people like to dance!)
We rehearse every Wednesday evening in Yate, and do gigs when we can - but not too often, so don't be expecting to have to give up every weekend!
We’re looking to expand our numbers, so we need a bassist, a trombonist, a clarinetist and an alto sax player. We do need people who can read music, not just jam along.
We're a friendly bunch, and don't take ourselves too seriously..until we're performing, that's different!
