James is a great guitar teacher who caters to your guitar needs! I am currently working towards my grade 6 guitar exam after years of not practising but James is whizzing me through all the grades before reaching that standard again which is a great way of building up to where I used to be.

My 17 year old has been taking lessons with James for a month. He seems like a great teacher. Communication is easy. He spent some time at the beginning finding out about my son, what kind of music he wants to play and what his goals are. He focusses on getting the technique right, while still keeping the lesson laid back and fun. They play a variety of styles and occasionally have a little foray into bass. My son enjoys their lessons together and is definitely more motivated to practice now.
